How much is your vehicle portrait going to cost?
Acrylic on paper
This depends on a number of factors, such as medium, size, number of vehicles in the portrait.
Whether you would like a detailed scenic background or diffused colour/black or white background. You can choose from pen and ink, pencil and acrylic. Your finished art work will be on paper mounted and unframed. For larger acrylic portraits your work will be on canvas and unframed. It is always a good idea to take these options into account when asking for a quote, but if you want to talk them through first please don’t hesitate to contact me
with your questions and I will be delighted to discuss them with you.
You will need to find or take some high quality and clear photographs of your vehicle. Although I usually work mainly from one photo, I do like to see a range of different photographs of your vehicle before I begin.
Digital photos must be at least 2000 pixels wide and show detail very clearly to enable me to work from them accurately. The better the photos, the better the portrait.
Once your photographs are ready and you have an idea of the size and medium you would like for your vehicle portrait, you can contact me
via the Holybourne Art website.
(Don’t worry if you are unsure of the specific details of your portrait when you contact me, I can help to advise you and answer any questions you have before you pay your deposit.)
Once I have received your photos and requirements, I can discuss your vehicle portrait with you in further detail so I know exactly what you want. I will then be able give you an accurate price quote, including delivery charges.
Paying your deposit
Once you have decided exactly what you want for your vehicle portrait, I require a deposit of 25% of the total cost. Full payment is not required until the portrait is complete and you are happy with the results.
Deposit payments can be made via personal cheque or bank transfer. (please note that I can only accept personal cheques and bank transfer if you live within the UK). If you are unable to pay by one of these methods please let me know.
Final scan/photograph and full payment
Acrylic on canvas
As soon as I have completed your vehicle portrait, I will send you a scan or photograph of it for your approval. Once you are completely happy with the finished result, you will need to pay the remaining balance in full before your portrait is safely packaged and delivered to you.
Full payments can be made in the same way as the deposit via bank transfer or cheque.
Packaging and delivery
All vehicle portraits are packaged well to ensure they arrive safely and in perfect condition to your door. I use either Royal Mail Special Delivery Next Day or International Signed For, both of which include tracking and full insurance.
Delivery charges are not included in the price of your portrait. Costs vary depending on the size of your portrait and destination. I am happy to discuss the delivery options available to you when you order.
